HJR 21-OPPOSE UN LAND DESIGNATIONS IN ALASKA CHAIR HUGGINS announced HJR 21 to be up for consideration. [CSHJR 21(RES) was before the committee.] 1:42:33 PM IAN FISK, staff to Representative Bill Thomas, sponsor of HJR 21, said this resolution passed last year and ended up in the concurrence folder. 1:42:58 PM SENATOR STEVENS moved to pass CS for HJR 21 out of committee with the attached fiscal note and individual recommendations. There were no objections and CSHJR 21(RES) passed from committee. HJR 17-KENSINGTON MINE APPEAL 1:43:31 PM CHAIR HUGGINS announced HJR 17 to be up for consideration. [HJR 17 AM was before the committee.] TREVOR FULTON, staff to Representative Kyle Johnson, was present to answer questions. SENATOR STEVENS moved to pass HJR 17 from committee with individual recommendations. There were no objections and HJR 17 AM moved from committee. There being no further business to come before the committee, Chair Huggins adjourned the meeting at 1:43:58 PM.
